In the Curtains

by John

Why do cats climb in the curtains?

We have had Siamese Cats for 17 years now, we even tried a nest (witch did not went well sadly).

Our first two cats were both stir crazy, we learned early that Siamese cats should not be alone. So we bought them in pairs.

Two Siamese, one chocolate point and one solid black arrived from a breeder. We choose these two because they were playing together while we watched the full nest.

Them playing together gave us the idea that they were good friends.

They were.

They would constantly chase each other. Weird enough they would always end up high in the curtains where they expected to be rescued by us.

Just wondering if that's a species trick, do your Siamese climb curtains too?

No curtain climbing for our Siamese

It's a good thing too. He is a very big boy and if he tried, he would probably bring them down on top of him. Plus we don't want him introducing any new tricks to the rest of the tribe.
